今年暑假，我参加了由教体局组织的这次英语培训活动，我很荣幸的获得了这次宝贵的提升专业素质和业务素质的机会，非常感谢领导给予我这次宝贵的学习机会，使我在英语水平、教学思想方面受益匪浅。
此次培训是由来自加拿大外教授课，实行小班教学。在培训期间，每天不同的主题，针对我们英语教学方法的介绍和指导，让我们英语教师在培训中，掌握其实际应用技巧。Gloria给我们营造一个纯英语的学习环境，培养我们的英文惯性思维能力，我们在课堂上只讲英语，每天都在一个全英文的环境中实践与提高，这样大脑每天不断在接受英语的冲击，再加上教师的.耐心的指导，培养在与真正的外国人自然交流的过程中形成的语言思维习惯。
还有，在外教课堂上，外教的肢体语言和面目表情是值得我们学习的，我们上了课之后，就感觉Gloria的课上得很活，她在课堂上时而唱歌，我们就随之唱起来；她在课堂上时而跳舞，我们也随之舞起来，这丝毫都没有浪费我们的学习时间，而且在唱歌和跳舞中进行了英语交流，Gloria天天给我们的话题都是新鲜的，让我们天天都有所期盼。这让我们训练英语口语之余还学到了好多实用的教学方法。在培训的课堂上是没有一句中文的，所有学员为了能听懂外教的话并能与之交流，学习非常刻苦，遇到生词或查字典；或学员之间相互讨论，共同思考；或比划着向外教请教。每天写的journal，让我们的英语书写也得到了飞速的提高。
其实，我们从Gloria那里不仅是锻炼了英语口语与书写，增长了西方文化常识，我们还学到了本国英语教师有待提高的东西，包括教法，授课方式，以及评价学生等等，都是让我们大开眼界的，都是值得我们学习的。还有，这次培训给我印象最深的是外教们身上所具有的那股认真劲，它也可以被说成是“充满活力”，也可以看作是“充满热情”，总之和她在一起觉得自己全身充满阳光气，对生活充满希望。Gloria给我们上课，每一节课她都认真教学，丝毫看不出一丝疲惫、应付之意，也因此让我们更加感动，从而学习起来更加起劲、认真。我想我们每位教师在日常的教学中也应该是这样的，在进教室之前，无论你的身体多么疲惫，无论你的心情多么糟糕，你都要重新调整，让自己精神抖擞、高高兴兴的迈进课堂，去和学生共度40分钟的美好时光，让他们在你的课堂上不仅能学到英语知识，更能学习到对生活的热爱。
总之，通过这次培训，我学到了很多方面的东西，我想我要把这次在培训中学到的知识带回到我的课堂教学中去，让我的学生也能体会到学习英语的乐趣。我相信，这些活动一定能提高学生学习英语的兴趣。在以后的教学中我会尝试着进行应用并创新，做一名合格而优秀的英语教师。

To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only visit the Beijing subway. I still remember the first time I took the Beijing subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. When I was trying to get a ticket, I found a lot of people waiting in front of me, but nobody was in the line.
Immoral behaviors in public exert a series of problems. One of the most serious ones is that it may exert a negative impact on our sense of social responsibility. We will keep ignoring other people’s rights and feelings, and in turn, we too will be disrespected some day.
The improvement of this phenomenon is certainly not easy. With an eye on practical implementation and cost effectiveness, I propose that society make it clear in every way that people who fail to respect the common good will be seriously punished. Stricter policies for this should be made to correct this phenomenon as soon as possible.

Granny liu, a distant kinsfolk, in a dream of the red mansions , claims kinship with the wealthy jia family, thinking that she may benefit from it in some ways. liu might have run away without any traces if the jia family had been a poor one. another saying goes “close neighbors are better than distant relatives.” the most difficult is to manage the relatives when doing business together, just as what the tv series program liu laogen discloses. it is all right to stay poor together, but as soon as the business grows prosperous, the group will become estranged and even dissolve because of the unfair distribution. family love is like a maze which we shouldn't go too far into it, otherwise, we'll surely get lost. love is a bilateral matter and unilateral love can only lead you to nowhere in spite of your good intentions. family love is, sometimes, like an arranged marriage, leaving no choices to you. due to the different experiences and tastes, staying together temporarily can be entertaining, while living together for a long time can only be boring due to the lack of common interest and understanding. how can we communicate with each other without understanding? parents have the duty to support the children who are not yet economically independent, and children have the responsibility to provide for the elderly parents who are lack of economic abilities to support themselves. except these two kinds of duties which we must fulfill, other kinds of love become conventional formalities such as paying visit to the sick or the dead and giving presents to the newly-born etc.
No love among relatives has become a normal phenomenon which needn't to be fussed about. what's worse is when love is contaminated by money. sooner or later we will get hurt. the sooner we get out of this net of love, the more we can preserve beautiful memories.

We Chinese have always been respected and highly praised for good manners and courtesy, which have, as well, become precious traditions of our people. In a couple of weeks beyond, a large number of foreign friends will come to China to join us in enjoying the Olympics. Before foreign guests, we should have an easy manner and behave politely and warm-heartedly. In public places, such ugly behaviors as uproar, pushing or squeezing together, spitting and so on should be determinedly forbidden. In a sense, each of us will not simply stand for ourselves but stand for China. Therefore, boys and girls, let’s do it well right now and the eyes of the world are to on us!

Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The water is clean and clear and we can even see fishes swimming freely in it. Beside the lake there was a sign which read “Don’t throw water into the lake!” However, a couple ignored it completely, throwing waste into the lake, while saying loudly “How beautiful the scenery is!”
Seeing this, I was sad and angry. How should they do things like that? Now, some people don’t mind their own behavior in public places. They speak loudly regardless of others’ feelings surrounding them and even pollute the environment at random.
To make our society more harmonious, I appeal to the whole society to mind our own behavior in public places and small good things in our daily life which surely make a big difference to our world.

At present, with the improvement of people's living standard, more and more people go out to travel. However, while tourists enjoy the beautiful scenery, they also destroy it. There are many uncivilized behaviors, such as spitting, littering, and scribbling on walls and so on.
Whether these behaviors are intentional or not, they have had a harmful influence on our cities, even on our country. For one thing, visitors would not be willing to come to the spot again owing to others' uncivil deeds, which is a strike to the development of the local tourism. For another, some uncivil phenomena directly lead to the damage to scenic spots that are of great value.
To sum up, uncivilized behaviors have influenced a lot on the images of our cities and our country. Therefore，we need to take some actions to stop those uncivilized behaviors. The cities where we are living are our homes so that everybody should shoulder the responsibility to be civilized.
